Sheryl Underwood, an American comedian, host of a TV show and performer best known for hosting the popular daytime talk show The Talk. Sheryl was born and brought up in Little Rock. Sheryl was raised in the midst of a challenging family. Sheryl was fostered by her sister Frankie. Frankie had suffered with her own illness called Polio. When she was a kid, her relations with her mother were not always smooth. Sheryl says that at an incident, she was stabbed by her father due to him getting too close to her. Sheryl was a college graduate when she, joined the army. However, her interests lay in the field of comedy. She became the very first woman to win the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. Her first TV work in 1992 by having a frequent appearance as a actor on HBO's comedy program Def Comedy Jam. She was a TV host at the time of her debut on Oh Drama! In 2011, she began participating as a co-host on The Talk as co-host. Also, she appears in fictional roles on series such Bulworth Nikki, Bulworth or Beauty Shop.
