Sheryl-Underwood

Sheryl Underwood was born and raised in Arkansas and grew up in the state. She became a TV host of the talk show on daytime The Talk. Born in Arkansas She was raised within Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl has a turbulent family. She spent the majority of her childhood taking care of her younger sister Frankie suffering from the disease of polio. As she grew older it was not easy to get along between her mother and father. Sheryl states that her mother was once brutally stabbed by her father for getting too close. Sheryl was a soldier soon after she graduated her college. However her interest lay in comedy. She became the first female finalist in the contest Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. She started her TV career as regularly performing at the HBO Comedy Show Def Comedy Jam in 1992. In 2000, she hosted Oh Drama! Oh Drama! She is currently a co-host on Talk Talk since 2011. She's been in many fictional shows including Bulworth Nikki Beauty Shop and others.
