Lucy Liu is an American voice actress, producer, and vocalist. She is an attractive, talented actress who has helped many Asian actors to achieve success in Hollywood. Her fame was boosted by numerous popular characters in television the series. For instance, in The Ally McBeal series, where she played Ling Woo the villainous character. After her fame, she got important parts in Shanghai Noon (1998) and Charlie's Angels (2000). She gave a stellar performance in the role of Japanese criminal O-Ren Ishii (Quentin Tarantino) in Kill Bill Volume 1 by Quentin Tarantino. During this time she also acted as the lead in a few flops on the box-office such as Rise: Blood Hunter. She then began to voice characters from animated films such as Kung Fu Panda or Tinker Bell. Mia Mason's role on the small screen in Cashmere Mafia did not produce any results. Southland was a highly acclaimed police show in which Liu appeared regularly played a part that allowed her to be a an internationally acclaimed as an actress. Liu takes great care in choosing her roles to ensure she doesn't get typecast. While she embraces her roots but it doesn't mean she has to be when it comes to her career being an artist.
