Samantha Mohr was born on 13 September 1961 in Columbus, Georgia. Virgo was her Zodiac sign. Mohr is the American with a white ethnicity and an American passport, holds American citizenship. Mohr is an individual who remains private who has no information on her parents' childhood, or siblings. Mohr is a graduate with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech Pathology, and a minor of audiology, both from the University of Georgia. Mohr is also enrolled at the University of St. Thomas located within Houston, Texas. Mohr completed her Bachelor of Arts in broadcast meteorology at the University of Georgia in 1989. Following the suggestion from a former UGA student, Mohr started working in the glamorous industry at age 24. She was crowned Miss Columbus in 1985 after getting the crown as well as beating her rivals. The winner was entitled, as the result of her victory, to participate in the Miss Georgia Pageant in June of 1985. On June 22, 1985 she also won the competition. Mohr, after winning the event, was able to compete for Georgia as Miss America 1986 in Atlantic City in New Jersey in September of 1985. In spite of her success Mohr did not finish within the Top 10 to win the national title.
